Every other weekend, floating, and holidays are required
Travelers must work two of the three winter holidays

Assignment Details

28-bed unit
Cares for orthopedic, spinal surgery, bariatric surgery, colorectal surgery, Level III trauma, and medical-surgical overflow patients as census permits
Unit can monitor up to 8 telemetry patients
Typical patient ratio is 1:7

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic

Required Certifications

BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association

Additional Notes

Longer assignments through January 9, 2027, are available but not required
Candidates should be comfortable with the patient ratios before submission
