Pediatric Stepdown RN

Overview

Travel/contract role in Madison, Wisconsin
13-week assignment
36 hours per week
12-hour day or night shifts
Schedule includes Monday through Friday with every other weekend required

Unit / Patient Population

Pediatric medical-surgical and stepdown intermediate care
Mix of acuity from general medical to stepdown IMC
Patient populations include neuro, diabetic, nephrology, spinal fusion, intermediate care, and general care
May care for patients with pulmonary lines, respiratory failure, tracheostomy, ventilator dependence, CPAP, and BiPAP

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
2 years of experience in Pediatric PCU - Progressive Care Unit
Pediatric PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
Stepdown experience
Pediatric Med Surg experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
Experience with Epic

Additional Notes

Every other weekend is required
Day/night scheduling is available
