Day shift, 3x12 hours
36 hours per week
Every other weekend
No block schedule guaranteed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
ED - Emergency Department (3 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
TNCC
NIHSS
Epic
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic

Preferred Experience

Pediatric experience
SANE experience or comfort caring for a patient needing a SANE exam

Unit Details

High-acuity emergency department
Level III trauma center
Comprehensive stroke center
Regional cardiac center
Pediatrics included in unit scope
68-bed unit with super track, psych, trauma, results pending, and occasional hallway beds
Typical staffing target is 1:4 to 1:5, though ratios may change based on staffing, census, and acuity

Half-day clinical orientation
Half-day shadowing on the unit with a nurse
