Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehabilitation (Acute)

Job Description

Provide evaluation and re-evaluation of assigned patients in both outpatient and inpatient acute rehabilitation settings.
Plan and implement ongoing therapeutic physical therapy programs as prescribed by the ordering physician.
Independently manage a full caseload and regularly update treatment plans and home exercise programs.
Perform re-evaluations based on insurance authorization requirements.
Work may include Hawaii State and Federal holidays as needed.
Use department equipment and electronic medical records systems including Net Health Therapy and Meditech.
Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for an employee health appointment on Friday.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (Day shift)

Required Qualifications

Valid Occupational Therapist license in Hawaii
Minimum 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist
Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
Experience working with adult patients
Experience in outpatient and acute care settings
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Red Cross

Additional Information

Timely arrival before the start date is mandatory to complete onboarding requirements.
