Operating Room RN

Overview

• Travel/Contract role in West Columbia, South Carolina
• 13-week assignment
• Evening shift: 5x8 hours, 14:30–23:00
• 40 hours per week
• Busy large hospital setting
• Weekdays, with possible weekends and holidays within the contract
• Not currently assigning travelers in the call rotation, though some shifts may need coverage

Role Focus

• OR RN with ability to work multiple specialties
• Source names the specialties as: General, GYN, Ortho, Neuro, and Robotics
• Preferred specialties are Neuro, Ortho, Robotics, General, and GYN

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• Orthopedics experience
• Neurology experience
• OB/GYN experience
• Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years OR experience

Additional Requirements

• Must complete required onboarding, compliance, and health documentation before start
• Initial physical required and updated annually
• Negative TB or chest X-ray required
• Drug screening required within 90 days of start
• COVID vaccination or approved exemption required
• Flu vaccination or declination required during flu season
