Renal Med-Surg RN

Overview

Contract RN role in Zanesville, Ohio
Unit: 21-bed Renal/Medical-Surgical unit
Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
36 hours per week
Every other weekend required
No on-call requirement
Start dates are limited unless the RN is a returning traveler within 9 months

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg / Telemetry (3 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

Renal experience strongly preferred

Clinical Scope

Cares for adult patients with acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, post-dialysis needs, and complex medical-surgical conditions
Float scope includes similar Med-Surg units, Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED boarders
