Physical Therapist Travel Position - Anchorage, Alaska
Job Details
- Employment Type: Travel
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Work Schedule:
- 4 days per week
- 10-hour day shifts
- Rotating schedule including weekends (2-3 weekends per month)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Unit Type: Inpatient acute care
- Patient Load: 8-10 patients daily
- EMR System: EPIC
- Dress Code: Light green scrubs
Unit Information
- Number of Beds: 175
- Therapy Staff: Approximately 60 providers including PT, OT, SLP, PTA, COTA
- Shift Staffing Example (Day): 1 charge, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters
- On Call: Not required
Required Qualifications
- License: Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in acute care settings
- Skills: Acute care experience is mandatory
Preferred Candidate Attributes
- Ability to work independently
- Comfortable with weekend rotations
