Job Summary

Operates radiographic equipment in the cath lab under the direction of a cardiologist and assists during invasive procedures.

Responsibilities

Obtain patient history and physical assessment
Perform time-out procedure and verify consent and H&P
Maintain sterile technique during scrub assist duties
Document patient progress, responses to interventions, charges, and changes in the EMR
Identify and document basic arrhythmias and respiratory dysfunction
Perform pulse oximetry, cardiac monitoring, automatic blood pressure monitoring, and related calculations

Required Qualifications

Associate's degree in Radiology Technology
Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Kentucky
Cath Lab Technologist (1 year of experience)
Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
ARRT
BLS
ACLS
