Contract

- 12-hour evening shift
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS
- NRP
- PALS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Registered Nurse
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Certification appropriate for the unit or service
Job Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care
- Evaluate health status through ongoing collection and assessment of health data
- Provide health teaching and counseling
- Provide therapy and treatment directly or through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching
- Execute delegated medical functions
- Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
- Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans
- Document according to hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Use resources as needed
- Float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need
- Be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift if required
