Unit Details: NICU Level III, approximately 190 births per month
Scheduling: Weekends every other week, may exceed to meet unit needs; no floating between units; no on-call required
Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
Minimum 2 years of NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care) experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association or Heart & Stroke Foundation
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification

- TDAP vaccine within 10 years (declination accepted)

Scheduling & Policies

Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered
All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of application; approval based on facility needs

Training & Competencies

Completion of annual regulatory and facility-specific training modules via LMS (Workramp)
Medication and pharmacology competency exams as applicable
Epic training modules required prior to or shortly after start date
