Occupational Therapist - Acute/Inpatient

Location: Albany, Oregon
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (8:00 AM - 6:30 PM), no weekends
Hours per Week: 40

Job Description

Provide evaluation, treatment, and discharge recommendations for inpatient acute care patients with orthopedic, neurological, and activities of daily living (ADL) needs.
Treat patients across the lifespan, from pediatrics to geriatrics, in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Outpatient interventions include hand therapy, orthopedics, neuro, custom splinting, driving assessments, and ADL training.
Work within a rehabilitation team focused on restoring self-care, physical mobility, and functional independence.

Required Qualifications

Valid Occupational Therapist license in Oregon.
Minimum of 1 year of Occupational Therapist experience, including experience within the last year.
Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Additional Information

No weekend shifts.
Interview scheduling requires providing availability and preferred contact method.

Schedule was atrocious especially night shift. Significant amount of floating to the ER as helping hands or a sitter.
