Overview

Contract role in Family Birth Place
Night shift: 12 hours, with rotating weekends
Call rotation is typically one 12-hour shift every 6 weeks
36 hours per week
13-week contract

Unit / Setting

Family Birth Place
L&D with OR, PACU, and postpartum
Couplet care
About 80 deliveries per month
Cares for babies 32 weeks and up

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Labor and Delivery (4 years of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
NRP
STABLE
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Notes

Current flu vaccine required October 1 through April 1 for all travelers, with no exemptions
Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
CAPS requirement applies and may take up to two weeks to obtain
