Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab

Location: Tucson, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Four 10-hour shifts, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Hours per Week: 36 hours guaranteed
On-Call Requirements:

7 to 9 on-call shifts per month, including one weekend
30-minute response time to hospital for STEMI calls
Ability to pick up additional on-call shifts if desired

Job Description

Circulating and monitoring in the Cath Lab environment
Experience with STEMI cases and high-risk equipment such as Impella, IABP, and Anari
Exposure to Electrophysiology (EP) and Interventional Radiology (IR) preferred
Patient ratio approximately 3:1
Must be willing to float to an additional nearby facility location

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arizona
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 3 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
Circulating experience in cardiac catheterization
Monitoring experience in cardiac catheterization
Familiarity with STEMI procedures
Experience with high-risk equipment including Impella, IABP, and Anari
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Electrophysiology Lab experience
Interventional Radiology experience

Preferred Qualifications

Prior travel nursing experience is preferred but not required
