Shift: Night (4 shifts of 10 hours each, 16:00 - 02:00)

Job Description

• Position floats between units as needed.
• No on-call required.
• Work every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday).
• Expected patient ratio: 7.
• May be asked to float to a nearby hospital performing the same duties if overstaffed.
• Department: Adult and Pediatric Emergency Room.
• Hospital experience preferred.
• Experience conducting crisis risk assessments for adults and pediatrics required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker license in Washington
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
• Experience working with adult patients
• Experience working with pediatric patients
• Experience as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
• Experience as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

Work Environment & Schedule

• Night shift with 4 shifts of 10 hours each.
• Work every other weekend.
• Floating between units and possibly to other nearby facilities.
• Use of Epic electronic health record system.
• Short Term Acute Care facility with Level II Trauma Center designation.

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID and Social Security Card.
• Background check within 90 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; must be updated annually.
• State-specific background checks and registries as required by Washington law.
• Drug screening (9-panel) within 12 months of start.
• Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO.
• Immunizations and health screenings required:

  • TDAP vaccine within 10 years (declination accepted).
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months (annual updates required).
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer.
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination.
  • Varicella vaccination or positive titer.
  • Seasonal flu vaccine during flu season (declination accepted).
  • COVID vaccination record preferred; declinations accepted.
• Respirator medical clearance required annually for travel candidates.
• Fit mask testing required for travel candidates, updated annually.
• Annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules required.
• Photo for badge with neutral background required.

Additional Notes

• Floating policy acknowledgment required.
• Must complete all required Workramp training modules annually.
• References and employment history must be verifiable and include month/year format.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
• No on-call duties.
• Weekend work every other weekend is mandatory.
