Location: Spokane, Washington
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (4 shifts of 10 hours each, 16:00 - 02:00)

Job Description
- Position floats between units as needed.
- No on-call required.
- Work every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday).
- Expected patient ratio: 7.
- May be asked to float to a nearby hospital performing the same duties if overstaffed.
- Department: Adult and Pediatric Emergency Room.
- Hospital experience preferred.
- Experience conducting crisis risk assessments for adults and pediatrics required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker license in Washington
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
- Experience working with adult patients
- Experience working with pediatric patients
- Experience as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
- Experience as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Work Environment & Schedule
- Night shift with 4 shifts of 10 hours each.
- Work every other weekend.
- Floating between units and possibly to other nearby facilities.
- Use of Epic electronic health record system.
- Short Term Acute Care facility with Level II Trauma Center designation.
Compliance & Documentation Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID and Social Security Card.
- Background check within 90 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; must be updated annually.
- State-specific background checks and registries as required by Washington law.
- Drug screening (9-panel) within 12 months of start.
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO.
- Immunizations and health screenings required:
- TDAP vaccine within 10 years (declination accepted).
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months (annual updates required).
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer.
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination.
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer.
- Seasonal flu vaccine during flu season (declination accepted).
- COVID vaccination record preferred; declinations accepted.
- Respirator medical clearance required annually for travel candidates.
- Fit mask testing required for travel candidates, updated annually.
- Annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules required.
- Photo for badge with neutral background required.
Additional Notes
- Floating policy acknowledgment required.
- Must complete all required Workramp training modules annually.
- References and employment history must be verifiable and include month/year format.
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
- No on-call duties.
- Weekend work every other weekend is mandatory.
