• Days
• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour shifts
• May be required to work on-call days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid Pediatric Respiratory Therapist license in North Carolina
• Pediatric Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
• Pediatric Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• NRP
• PALS issued by American Heart Association
• CPFT
• Advanced practice certificate to administer moderate sedation in Bronchoscopy Lab
• Experience in a hospital setting
• Oscillatory Ventilator experience within 5 years
• Respiratory Therapist experience

Experience / Clinical Background

• Experience working with NICU and PICU patients in a hospital setting for at least 2 years
• Oscillatory ventilator experience within the past 5 years

• Aerosol therapy
• Respiratory care procedures and treatments
• Arterial punctures
• Tracheostomy care and tracheostomy tube changes
• Endotracheal intubations and extubations
• Pulmonary function testing
• Pediatric and neonatal patient transport
• Advanced respiratory care procedures
• ECMO management
• Monitoring and weaning ventilator patients
