Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR)

Location: Aurora, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel

Unit: Operating Room (OR)
Number of OR beds: 11
Staff on unit: 53
Patient ratio: 2:1
Shift coverage includes night shift charge nurse, techs, and on-call trauma, neuro, and heart teams
Equipment: Standard OR equipment
EMR system: Meditech

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Acute Care experience
Current certifications: BLS and ACLS

Preferred Qualifications

Prior Meditech EMR experience
Charge nurse experience (highly preferred and prioritized)
Precepting experience

General OR surgeries
Neurosurgery/Spine
Cardiovascular Thoracic (CVT)
Orthopedics
Gynecology (GYN)
Robotic surgeries

Work Schedule and Call Requirements

36 hours per week
Call: 1-2 nights per week and 1-2 weekend call shifts per month
