Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan and implement patient and family education.
Assess patient needs and initiate appropriate interventions.
Provide leadership and contribute to professional development within the nursing practice.
Promote health and safety, and enhance quality and effectiveness of nursing care.
Integrate ethical standards and research findings into nursing practice.
Maintain professional judgment, emotional intelligence, and teamwork skills in a busy, stressful environment.

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Montana.
Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year.
Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Collect comprehensive patient health data and analyze to determine diagnoses.
Develop and implement individualized care plans.
Evaluate nursing practice against professional standards and regulations.
Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Participate in stroke competency education:
- Two hours of initial cerebrovascular disease (stroke) education within one year of hire.
- One hour of annual stroke education thereafter.

Facility may cancel up to three shifts during the 13-week contract due to low census or unforeseen circumstances.
