Overview

  • Registered nurse role in a hospital setting in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
  • 13-week contract.
  • 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Oklahoma.
  • Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year.
  • 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience.
  • Stepdown experience.
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
  • Current Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Clinical Focus

  • Med/Surg and step-down care.
  • May be floated to any area of the hospital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care for patients with a range of health problems.
  • Monitor patient condition, administer medications, and manage IV infusions and blood products.
  • Document patient responses and changes in physician orders.
  • Assist with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures.
  • Communicate care plans and discharge information to patients and families.
  • Delegate tasks to support staff.
