Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate care.
Supports patients’ physical, psychological, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs through an individualized plan of care.
Works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team and communicates clearly and respectfully with patients and teammates.

BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross, valid throughout the assignment
CPI certification, valid throughout the assignment
Central skills checklist for the assigned unit, fully complete and updated annually
Core competency exam with a score of 80% or higher, updated annually
9+ panel drug screen excluding marijuana
TB testing
MMR immunity documentation
Varicella immunity documentation
Hepatitis B immunity documentation or declination
Tdap within the last 10 years or applicable declination
Physical/health statement within the past 12 months showing no restrictions
