Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR)

Location: Caldwell, Idaho
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Hours per Week: 36

Unit Overview

Unit: Operating Room with 6 OR suites
Patient Ratio: 1:1
Staffing includes RNs, CSTs, OR Aides, and Anesthesia Techs
Equipment used: Stryker, Steris, Olympus, Zimmer, Mizuho
Documentation system: Meditech
Floating policy: Able to float between Main OR, Endoscopy, and Outpatient Surgery on 2nd floor
Procedures performed: Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Spine, Urology, General Surgery, Gynecology, Bariatrics, Podiatry, Endoscopy, ECTs
Advanced skills required: Robotics experience with Da Vinci system
Dress code: Scrubs provided

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Idaho
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Certifications: BLS and ACLS required
Experience with Robotics, specifically Da Vinci system
Experience in Orthopedics and Urology specialties

Additional Information

Schedule requirement: 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
Unit offers exposure to advanced surgical technology and a variety of surgical specialties
Patient experience and unit-specific policies are emphasized to ensure quality care and smooth operations
