Interventional Radiology Technician

Location

Morristown, New Jersey

Contract Length

13 weeks

Schedule

PM shift
36 hours per week
12-hour shifts
On-call every 4th weekend and 1 day per week
3–12 shifts per schedule pattern

Required Qualifications

Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in New Jersey
3 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
Cardiovascular Technologist experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ARRT (R)
NJ Radiographic Licensure
High School Diploma/GED or Associate degree

Key Responsibilities

Assist proceduralists during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular and neuro-interventional cases
Scrub side by side with the proceduralist
Operate fluoroscopic modality equipment
Retrieve and circulate complex products during interventional procedures
Operate power injection of iodinated contrast media during diagnostic and interventional procedures
Maintain sterile technique and infection prevention measures
Provide groin management post-intervention
Document in the electronic medical record and send images to PACS
Work collaboratively with nurses, radiologists, and vascular surgeons
