Required Qualifications

• Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Maryland
• Interventional Radiology Technologist (2 years of experience)
• Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or United States Department of Defense
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or United States Department of Defense
• RCIS or ARRT
• Cath Lab Technologist experience

Schedule / Assignment Details

• Call is required for 12–13 days in a 6-week period
• Call hours are 5:30 PM–7:00 AM on weekdays and 5:30 PM Friday–7:00 AM Monday on weekends
• Floating within scope is not required
• Block scheduling is not accommodated
• Local candidates are accepted, with local rate adjustment within 50 miles of the hospital
• 1 request for RTO

• Background check required
• EPLS/GSA/SAM required annually
• HHS/OIG required annually
• Orientation Safety Manual acknowledgement required
• NURSYS verification required as applicable
• NIH Stroke Certification required as applicable
• Physical exam required within 1 year of start
• Fit test required within 1 year of start
• Tdap required within 10 years of start
• Negative TB or chest X-ray required within 1 year of start
• TB questionnaire required
• Negative 10-panel drug screen required within 1 year of start
• Flu vaccine required; declinations or exemptions not accepted
