Job Type

  • Travel/Contract

Schedule

  • Night shift, 3x12 hours
  • 36 hours per week
  • 13-week contract
  • 36 or 48 hours accepted

Key Assignment Details

  • Floating required
  • Weekend requirement: 12–16 per contract
  • Target ratio: 1:5–6
  • RTO after booking is not allowed; additional RTO or call-offs may result in cancellation and DNR
  • Contract staff may be assigned to storm, hurricane, mass casualty, or disaster response needs
  • Mid-contract consolidation to a centralized office may occur
  • Unit orientation: 24 hours
  • Hospital orientation occurs during week one, and the traveler must be available each day for classes
  • Scrubs: Navy/White

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in North Carolina
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
  • Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Accepts first-time travelers
  • Must pass EKG testing prior to start

  • Background checks, health screening, and facility onboarding documents are required
  • Fit testing is required
  • Drug testing is required within 30 days of start
  • Flu documentation or exemption may be required depending on season and status
