Registered Nurse (Medical Surgical - Oncology)

Location: Terre Haute, Indiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Unit: Medical Oncology / Medical Surgical (mixed unit)
Shift: Nights
Hours: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:5 or 1:6
Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per schedule (night shift includes 1 Sunday per schedule)
Floating: Required to float within scope, including an 8-bed Prison unit
Scrub Color: Navy blue required

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana
Minimum of 1 year oncology experience, with oncology experience within the last year
Med Surg experience
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association

Additional Information

Candidates must be 100% committed and ready to start ASAP
Radius rule: Candidates must be located 50-100 miles away; no candidates within 50 miles accepted
Night shift schedule includes 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts
Common patient types: General medical surgical patients with oncology focus
