Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM (5 days a week, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week)
Start Date: ASAP
Patient Ratio: 1:1
Call Requirements:
- 4-6 call shifts in a 6-week period (includes weekend calls)
- Call hours: Monday-Friday 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM; Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Weekend Requirement: Only to pick up call shifts
Floating: May be required to float between units at manager’s discretion
Schedule: Open to block scheduling per manager discretion
Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off once per two-week pay period

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Requirements

Photo for Badge: Passport-style photo with neutral background required
Competency Exams: Medication test/pharmacology competency and other specialty-specific competency exams as applicable
Work History Verification: Required if reference requirements are not met, minimum 5 years verified work history
Annual Regulatory Training: Completion of required annual modules via LMS (Workramp) including core, specialty, and regional training paths
On-Call Requirement: Yes, with specified call hours and frequency
