Contract Length

13 weeks

Schedule

Nights
12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Every other weekend
Must work 2 major holidays

Required Qualifications

Active RN license
Minimum 2 years of recent experience, within the past 6 months
BLS certification
ACLS certification
NIHSS certification
Must be able to interpret EKGs
Must pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of receiving the offer, with up to 2 attempts
Must pass a day 1 orientation exam with emphasis on sterile field and proper sterile techniques

Neuro telemetry unit
28 beds
Typical nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:3-4
Charge nurse has no patient assignment
PCT support: 1 per every 16 patients
No vents
No IV team
RT available 24/7
Pharmacy available 24/7
Hospitalist rounds during the day and is on call at night
