Unit Description

24-bed Medical Cardiology Unit

Job Details

Rotating shifts: Days, Evenings, Nights (36 hours per week)
Rotation includes every other weekend (EOW)
RN to patient ratio:
- Days: 1:5
- Nights: 1:6

Key Responsibilities

Interpret telemetry strips
Perform cardiac drips
Provide post-catheterization care including PCI, ICD, PPM, Ablation, TR Band, and femoral approach care

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Massachusetts
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience, including experience within the last year
Strong cardiac background with at least 2 years of relevant experience
Experience performing cardiac drips
Experience providing post-catheterization care, including PCI, ICD, and Ablation care
Cardiology experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
