Overview

Contract RN role in Aspen, Colorado.
Nights, 7p-7a.
Based in the Patient Care Unit at a rural Critical Access Hospital.

Required Qualifications

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
Valid RN license in Colorado.
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience).
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

Additional Considerations

Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing.
Not accepting any RTO.
Must be healthy enough to safely function in a low oxygen environment at 8k elevation.

Pros

Staff is great , CNAs awesome . Very small hospital , on call rooms for emergency’s you have or state of alerts . So small you don’t float unless you’re critical care nurse .

Cons

Admit kids and adults, slow seasons are slow on call shifts . OT was labile . Depends what season you work . Bougie clientele if they don’t wanna d/c they won’t .
