Overview
- Full-time contract role in York, Maine
- 40 hours per week
- Based at the main campus
- Assists the Cardiology Team
Role Summary
- Provides direct and indirect patient care in the hospital/office setting
- Prepares patients and diagnostic equipment for imaging procedures
- Explains procedures to patients
- Obtains high-quality imaging
- Assists physicians with interpretation of images
- Keeps records properly
- Works within the Echo Tech scope of practice
Required Qualifications
- Echo Technologist experience within the last year
- 2 years of Echo Technologist experience
- ARDMS or CCI
- RCS
Preferred Qualifications
- R.D.C.S. or R.C.S. preferred
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Weekend call required: 1 on 4 off, Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
