Registered Nurse (ER) - Contract Position

Location: Pahala, Hawaii
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work as an RN covering Emergency Room (ER), Acute Care, and Long-Term Care (LTC) areas in a small critical access hospital with no separate units.
• When assigned to the ER and no patients are present, provide backup support in acute and LTC areas.
• When assigned to medication administration, responsible for passing meds and performing procedures for both LTC and acute patients.
• Facility is not latex-free.
• Hours are not guaranteed.
• Schedule: Six 12-hour shifts (72 hours) over a two-week period, with every third weekend off.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Hawaii
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience
• Emergency Department experience within the last year
• BLS certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Information

• Prior travel experience is required for this position.
