Vascular Technologist

Overview

• Contract role in Lancaster, Ohio
• Full-time schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM
• 36 hours per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Graduate degree from an accredited institution
• Vascular Technologist experience within the last year
• 1 year of experience as a Vascular Technologist

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience under the supervision of a qualified vascular physician or vascular laboratory
• RVT

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic vascular examinations ordered by a physician
• Operate laboratory equipment safely and appropriately
• Operate medical record and imaging systems appropriately
• Transport, move, and position patients safely
• Assist physicians with special procedures involving the vascular lab
• Maintain compliance with IAC standards
• Assist in precepting students and new employees
• Maintain patient safety and comfort in the vascular lab
• Assist with departmental supplies
• Perform cleaning and disinfection in compliance with hospital policies
• Perform other related duties as assigned
