• Unit Name: D2
• Location: Mission Main campus/D corridor
• Floor: 2nd floor (D2)
• Number of Beds: 20
• Staffing:

  • Day Shift: 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs
  • Night Shift: 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs
• Patient Ratios: 1:5 to 1:6, depending on level of care
• Patient Type: Inpatient overflow unit with mixed level of care (medical surgical and/or step-down patients)
• Equipment: Telemetry; all patients hardwired to bedside monitor if telemetry monitoring is indicated
• EMR System: Cerner

Candidate Requirements

Required Skills

• Must Have:

  • Telemetry competency
  • Progressive Care experience

• Floating: Travelers may be required to float to other units as needed.
• Dress Code: Navy and/or white top, navy bottom, all white attire.
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend required; no call required.
