Telemetry unit with 18 beds
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 5:1
Uses Meditech EMR

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Telemetry (1 year of experience)
Telemetry experience within the last year
Experience in an Acute Care setting
ACLS
BLS
Ortho Trauma experience
Stroke experience

Preferred Qualifications

NIH Certification
Trauma/orthopedic experience
Neuro/stroke experience

Key Responsibilities

Neurovascular checks on limbs
Frequent ambulation and repositioning
Orthopedic precautions
Comprehensive pain control

Work Environment

Teamwork-focused unit
Handles trauma, orthopedic, and standard telemetry patients, including chest pain, stroke workups, chronic cardiac conditions, TBIs, blunt force trauma, poly trauma, SCIs, GSWs, and stabbings
