Overview

Travel/Contract role in Clifton Springs, New York
13-week assignment
11-bed medical ED with a separate CPEP unit within the ED

Schedule

Nights/Mids rotation: 1900-0700 / 1100-2300
4x12 hours
Every other weekend

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
1 year of ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic

Additional Details

First-time travelers accepted
Local candidates not accepted within a 75-mile radius
Patient ratio: 1:5
CPEP space includes an evaluation area for up to 6 patients and an Extended Obs space for up to 2 patients
Staff in the CPEP include a nurse, PCT, and CPEP BH team when patients are present
Patients are triaged and medically cleared before entering CPEP
In CPEP, patients may require labs/EKG only
Staff typically work 6-hour blocks in CPEP on days/mids; nights may work 12 hours in the space
