RN Oncology Infusion Clinic - Adult

Location

  • Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Contract

  • 13 weeks
  • 40 hours per week
  • 10-hour shifts

Overview

  • Hospital-based nursing role providing care to adult oncology infusion patients in an outpatient clinic.
  • Core duties include administering chemotherapy and other medications, monitoring patient responses, supporting physicians during procedures, educating patients and families, coordinating follow-up care, and documenting care.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Oklahoma
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Experience in a(n) Outpatient setting
  • Infusion (1 year of experience)
  • Infusion experience within the last year
  • 1 year of chemotherapy experience
  • Oncology experience
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • ONS/ONCC

Skills

  • Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures
  • Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services
  • Ability to apply nursing techniques
  • Ability to maintain good working relationships with other employees
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors
  • Some computer skills

Preferred Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher from a board-approved program
