Job Details

Location: Waimea, Hawaii
Employment type: Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights/Rotating
Hours: 80 hours every 2 weeks
Unit: ICU/CCU
Patient ratio: 1:2 depending on acuity

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Hawaii
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
NIHSS
PALS

Clinical Responsibilities

Provide ICU/CCU care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
Care for surgical patients and patients with serious respiratory and/or cardiac conditions
After-hours PACU recovery coverage
Float to OB, MS, PACU, and ER as competency allows

Additional Notes

Emergency room experience is recommended
Hospital orientation includes HR/in-service, unit orientation, and competency completion
