Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Mexico
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ED - Emergency Department (5 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• BLS
• ACLS
• CPI
• NIHSS
• NRP

Job Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the emergency care setting
• Triage safely, rapidly, and accurately
• Determine priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs and factors influencing patient flow
• Communicate with Emergency Department physicians about changes in patient status, symptomatology, and diagnostic study results
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment
• May include occasional charge shifts
