Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Texas
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
  • Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
  • ACLS
  • AWHONN
  • BLS
  • NRP

Key Clinical Experience

  • Labor management
  • Circulating a cesarean section

Unit Details

  • 18-bed Labor & Delivery unit
  • Typical procedures include vaginal delivery, c-sections, triage, and iron infusions
  • Uses GE fetal monitoring
  • On-call requirement: 1–2 shifts per schedule
  • Floating may be required to mother-baby as a resource only
