Work Schedule

36 hours per week
12-hour shifts: either 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM or 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM

Job Overview

Coordinate nursing care including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care
Support professional nursing practice across various settings and the continuum of care
Plan, implement, evaluate, and communicate all phases of nursing care for assigned patients
Provide leadership through preceptor roles, informal leadership, and quality improvement efforts
Delegate patient care based on skill level, experience, patient acuity, fiscal accountability, and resource availability
Participate in committees or projects as needed
Utilize excellent communication, mentoring, and teaching skills

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Minnesota
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 1 year of Med Surg nursing experience within the last year
Admission experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers, valid and not expiring within 3 months of start date
