Schedule

• Day shift
• 10-hour shifts
• On-call weekdays and weekends

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Provides technical support in the cardiac catheterization laboratory during invasive cardiovascular procedures.
• Assists physicians with radiological imaging, scrub support, sterile technique, and monitoring/documenting procedure images and events.
• Provides patient care under RN supervision.
• Educates patients and families about the procedure and pre/post-procedure expectations.
• Maintains unit order, cleanliness, stock levels, and required documentation.
• Participates in quality and patient safety initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
• 1 year of Cath Lab Technologist experience
• One of the following:

  • ARRT (R)
  • ARRT (CV)
  • ARRT (VI)
  • RCIS
  • RCES
• BLS issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by the American Heart Association
• Fluoroscopy Certification

Preferred Experience

• 2 years of experience in Cardiology/Cath Lab
