Labor and Delivery RN

Location

Battle Creek, Michigan

Contract

Travel/contract assignment
Up to 26 weeks
Night shift, 3x12 hours
36 hours per week

Schedule and assignment expectations

Holiday coverage is required, and holiday time off must remain flexible
No time off during the first 2 weeks of the contract
Every other weekend required
Will work in all areas of LDRP
May float to sit as a sitter when needed
May float to Kalamazoo when needed and census allows

Required qualifications

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Valid RN license in Michigan
Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
AWHONN Intermediate or NCC C-EFM
Circulate
Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) Triage

Preferred qualifications

AWHONN Advanced
Scrub experience

Unit details

15-bed LDRP unit
3 triage bays
2 operating rooms
Staffing follows AWHONN guidelines

Additional notes

Scrubs are provided
Training will be provided for newborn infant hearing screens
No call required
