To sum it up... nepotism & favoritism. If you are outside of a certain group you will receive the worst assignments, heavy pt's, psych nurse etc. Was a very unsafe work environment due to pt ratios (my highest being 8:1 while attending to my missing staff nurses pts on top of that, so more like 20:1) and the continuous issue of the hospital being full. 40 plus in the waiting room. Admitted pt's waiting 3 plus days to go upstairs. Dementia central. Poor charge nrs staff on nights- Abby, Damon, Shane. Any complaints go in one ear & out the other w/ management. Nothing ever changed and only worsened w/ time.
