RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Cardiac Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts in cardiac telemetry unit
• Patient ratios of 1:5-6 for all shifts
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week with 3x12 schedule
• 6 weekend shifts required in 6-week period
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Must float within service line to meet facility needs
• Required certifications: BCLS and NIH; ACLS and CPI preferred
• No on-call responsibilities
• Must be proficient in telemetry and reading cardiac rhythms
• Experience with cardiac medications and drips required (no titration)
• Must be comfortable with external pacemaker monitoring and chest tube care
• Epic charting system experience required
• Navy scrub color required
• 38 hours of orientation provided
• Maximum 7 days of RTO allowed
• No RTO permitted during first week of assignment
• 75-mile local radius restriction applies

Facility:

This acute care hospital features 233 staffed beds and provides comprehensive cardiac care services including telemetry monitoring, pre and post cardiac catheterization care, and specialized cardiac surgery support. The facility utilizes Epic charting systems and offers interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. The cardiac telemetry unit maintains a 28-bed capacity with modern equipment and focuses on caring for cardiac patients, TAVR procedures, and post-PCI care.
