RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work night shifts on Neuro/Ortho Med Surg Telemetry unit
• 12-hour shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week (3x12 schedule)
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Weekend requirement: 2 shifts every other weekend (Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday)
• 6 weekend shifts required in 6-week schedule
• Float to any unit except ICU, SDU, and ED as needed
• No on-call requirements
• 2+ years of nursing experience preferred, first-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Navy scrubs required
• EPIC charting system
• Free parking available
• 38 hours of orientation provided
• Care for adult patients with orthopedic, neurology, medical/surgical, and stroke diagnoses
• Experience required with CVA care, isolation precautions/PPE, PCA, PICC line management, IV starts and maintenance, telemetry monitoring, and total joint replacement care
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed during 13-week contract
• Missouri license or compact state license required
• Must live outside 75-mile radius
