Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Surgery/OR position in Milwaukee, WI, requiring at least 2 years of OR experience and prior travel nursing experience.
Details
- Works in a hospital OR/Surgery department
- Schedule is 4x10-hour shifts, 08:30–19:00, with flexibility based on OR volume
- On-call required based on department needs, rotating weekdays and weekends
- Holiday coverage is provided through on-call hours, rotating with regular staff
- Floating may be required within skill set, onsite or to facilities within 40 miles
- Contract length is 13–26 weeks
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active WI RN license or compact RN license (must be in hand)
- BLS certification required (AHA accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of OR/surgical nursing experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Robotic surgical experience preferred
- Scrub nurse experience preferred
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Additional Information
- A US Social Security Number and a valid US home address are required
- Candidates must provide a copy of their driver's license for consideration
- Two professional references are required for consideration
- Full SSN and full date of birth are required for consideration
- Local candidates are eligible to apply, though a reduced pay rate may apply depending on proximity to the facility
