Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 26-week night shift travel contract at a Level III trauma center in Connecticut, with floating requirements across a CT and RI facility within the Yale New Haven Health System.
Details
- Short-term acute care Level III trauma center with 252 staffed beds, part of the Yale New Haven Health System
- CT Scan unit with GE and Siemens equipment
- Charting via Epic
- 4x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Call and weekend availability required as needed by the department
- Float between the Connecticut facility and a affiliated Westerly, RI hospital is required
- Free parking available on-site
Requirements
- Minimum of 1.5 years of hospital-based CT Tech experience
- Current BLS certification required
- Hands-on experience with GE and Siemens CT equipment required
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Candidates must obtain licensure in both CT and RI due to floating requirements; position may begin once the first license is issued while the second is pending
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Travelers are expected to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities as required by the facility
- Flu vaccination is required; declinations are not accepted
- COVID vaccination exemptions are accepted for religious or medical reasons only
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler
- Local CT Tech candidates are accepted; a local pay rate may apply
- Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved by the facility
- 1 professional reference required for consideration
