Description
American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN requiring KY or compact RN licensure and two years of acute care experience.
Details
- Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
- 36 hours per week across three 12-hour shifts
- Every other weekend required
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active RN license (KY or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM
- Minimum two years of acute care RN experience required
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
- Epic EMR experience required
- EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) experience preferred
Additional Information
- Provide patient and family centered care to laboring and postpartum patients
- Perform assessments, develop and implement individualized plans of care, and evaluate patient responses to interventions
- Facilitate patient and family education related to care, treatment, and discharge planning
- Supervise and mentor licensed and non-licensed staff members
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Participate in quality, safety, and process improvement initiatives
