Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with at least 1 year of specialty experience and CCI RCES or RCIS certification.

Details

Cath/EP lab performing right heart catheterizations, STEMI/PCI procedures, pacemaker implants, loop recorders, balloon pumps, Impella devices, pericardiocentesis, and temporary pacers
1 procedure room with a daily caseload of 4-6 cases per tech
Occasional support of vascular cases and team support to Interventional Radiology with patient prep
Uses Philips equipment and Epic (xper/Epic) charting
4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with occasional weeks requiring 5x8 hour shifts
On-call required Monday-Friday 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM and weekends 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
Not expected to float between units, though subject to change based on facility need

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of specialty Cath/EP lab experience required
Current BLS (AHA) required, ACLS preferred
CCI RCES or CCI RCIS certification required (either accepted); license required if applicable
Epic charting experience preferred

Additional Information

Call and holiday coverage required
Scrubs provided
Local candidates accepted; candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility may qualify for the local rate
