RN - Rehab
Location
- Madison, Wisconsin
Job Type
- Travel
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts: 6:30 AM–7:00 PM or 6:30 PM–7:00 AM
- Every other weekend and holiday rotations
- Call required
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS
- Rehabilitation (1 year of experience)
- Rehabilitation experience within the last year
- Experience in an Inpatient Rehab setting
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing setting
- Med Surg experience
- Experience with Epic
Unit Details
- Inpatient rehab specialty
- Adult patients with high-acuity rehabilitation needs
- 49-bed unit
- Patient ratio: 1:7
- May be required to float to a satellite IRF facility within 20 minutes in the near future
Work Environment
- High-acuity inpatient rehab setting that functions similarly to a medical-surgical unit
- Nurses assist CNAs and answer call lights for patient safety

- Charting computers
Additional Notes
- Mandatory 30-minute unpaid break each shift unless approved by the supervisor
- Two 15-minute paid breaks during a 12-hour shift
- Staff may not stay past shift end without approval from the house supervisor
