Job Opportunity: Case Manager
Location: Santa Rosa, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day (5x8 hours), 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Job Description
- Role involves Case Management duties.
- Start date: ASAP.
- Floating between similar units may be required based on need.
- Charting system: Epic.
- Free parking available.
- Call is not required.
- Weekend requirement: 2 weekends every 6 weeks.
- Locals are accepted.
- First-time travelers accepted as a SCREEN with clinical approval.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of Case Management experience
- Case Management experience within the last year
Background and Compliance Requirements
- Background check within 90 days of start covering all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years; must be updated annually.
- Education verification required for nursing degree.
- Drug screening: 9-panel drug screen within 12 months of start.
- E-Verify attestation required.
- State-specific searches and attestations as applicable.
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO.
- Respiratory safety clearance required for travel candidates.
- Annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules required.
- Immunizations and health documents required:
- TDAP (within 10 years or declination)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer/declination
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer/declination
- Seasonal flu vaccine or declination during flu season
- COVID vaccination documentation preferred (declinations accepted)
- Fit mask test required for travel candidates, updated annually.

- Floating policy acknowledgment required; may float to other nearby facilities.
- Photo for badge required (passport style with neutral background).
- Epic training modules must be completed as assigned.
- Candidates must comply with all facility-specific and regional training and documentation requirements.
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
- Weekends and floating requirements may affect scheduling flexibility.
This position is ideal for an RN with at least 2 years of experience in case management or a related clinical specialty, who is comfortable working in a travel/contract role with some weekend and floating responsibilities.
